英語学校

私は、イギリスのチチェスターという街で生まれました。
大学では日本語を学び、1年間金沢大学で交換留学をしました。
大学卒業後、大手英会話スクール「AEON（イーオン）」で、講師として4年間働きました。
その後、より制約が少なくお手頃価格で、もっと気軽に通うことができる英会話学校を作りたいと思い、2018年に本校「Friendly English」を立ち上げました。
空いた時間には、料理をしたり、趣味のプラモデルのペイントをしたりして楽しんでいます。
いつか、日本の全都道府県を旅してみたいと考えています。

I was born in The United Kingdom, in a town called Chichester. I studied Japanese at university and was an exchange student at Kanazawa University for one year. After I finished University I worked at AEON English school for 4 years. In 2018 I started Friendly English because I wanted to make a simple English school with few rules and a low price.
In my free time I enjoy cooking and painting plastic models. I want to visit all of the prefectures in Japan.

福井で生まれ、東京やヒューストン（アメリカ）、ドバイ（アラブ首長国連邦）など、いろんな街で長年過ごしてきました。
子供の頃から30カ国以上を旅してきたため、違う文化や背景を持つ友人や家族と過ごす機会に、とても恵まれたと思います。
私は子供が好きなので、笑顔にさせてくれる子供たちに、学ぶ楽しさをお返ししたいと考えています。

私にはいろんな趣味があります。
占星術が大好きです（私はおうし座です）。
子供の頃に数年ほど、暑いドバイでフィギュアスケートをやっていました。
フィルム写真やヴィンテージファッション、レコードといった、古いものやアンティークが好きです。
またギターを弾いたり、詩を書いたり、クロシェ（編み物）をしたりといった子供の頃からの趣味は、今でも続けています。

Born in Fukui, I’ve spent much of my life living around the globe in cities like Tokyo (Japan), Houston (U.S.A), and Dubai (U.A.E). I’ve travelled to over 30 countries from a young age and have had the chance to make many memories with friends and families from different cultures and backgrounds.
I love children and hope to reflect some joy back to them in the way they always bring me a smile!
A few fun facts: I love astrology and am a Taurus myself ! I figure skated for a few years growing up, ironically in the heat of Dubai. I love all things old and antique from film photography, vintage fashion, to vinyl records. I also play the guitar, write poetry, and love to crochet - all of which are just a few of the many hobbies I picked up as a child.
